PS Administration Training

Our PeopleSoft training offering covers all the basics for your new PeopleSoft administrators and helps them get setup for keeping your environment running smoothly. Our training is conducted by Senior PeopleSoft Administrators with extensive industry experience.

We'll customize the course for the platform you run PeopleSoft on (i.e., Windows vs Linux).

NOTE:

We do not currently offer the lab portion of this course on any operating system other than Windows or Linux.

PS Administration Training Course​

This hands-on training course will go through high level overviews in a lecture and presentation type setting, and include a lab were you can apply these skills in a GT Training environment.

This course will cover:

  • PeopleSoft Terminology
    • Familiarize participants with essential terms and concepts in the PeopleSoft ecosystem.
  • PeopleSoft Deployment Architectures
    • Understand typical architectures used in PeopleSoft implementations, including system components and interactions.
  • Environment Maintenance
    • Practical guidance on:
      • Starting and stopping domains.
      • Clearing system caches to resolve performance issues.
      • Accessing and analyzing log files for debugging.
  • Long-term Maintenance of PeopleSoft Environments
    • Key activities to ensure ongoing stability:
      • Password rotation for security.
      • Effective troubleshooting techniques.
      • Steps to address and restore functionality after a database refresh.
  • Daily PeopleSoft Administration Tasks
    • Overview of routine tasks essential for maintaining system health and availability.

  • $7,100 for a Dedicated Session (by request - your company only, up to 8 attendees)
