GT eForms 3.77.00 Release Announcement

October 29, 2026

Gideon Taylor is excited to share that the GT eForms 3.77.00 release is now available to download and install in your environments when ready.

This release brings 46 changes, including 8 enhancements and 38 bug fixes. One of those enhancements, Jump List, delivers long-requested functionality to eForms. Jump List lets users move forward, back and jump between the forms in their search results without going back to the search page. This release also delivers AI Form Builder, a licensed add-on powered by Gideon Taylor's AI Enterprise Agent, Ida.Next. AI Form Builder can build and update form types through an AI-guided conversation.

The complete 3.77.00 Release Notes can be found here, which we recommend you read.

Feature Release Highlights

Jump List

Have you ever wished GT eForms supported PeopleSoft's Next in List functionality? With the release of 3.77.00, we're adding a feature we call "Jump List": Next in List with a couple of new tricks. Historically, working through a set of forms has meant opening a form from the search results, taking action, returning to the search, and then opening the next one. This is no longer the case! Forms opened from an Update, Evaluate or View search can now show a Jump List: Previous and Next buttons, plus a dropdown of every form in the search results, so users can step through the forms in order or jump straight to any one of them.

As a form builder, you choose which of the result fields the Jump List shows. The upgrade turns the Jump List on for your existing Update, Evaluate and View searches that have result fields, so users get it straight away. It works on Helium forms with fluid enabled and can be turned off for any search if needed. See the Jump List documentation for details.

AI Form Builder

Building a new form type means setting up its pages, segments, fields and workflow in Form Setup. With the new AI Form Builder, powered by Ida.Next, form builders can describe the form they want in a conversation instead. The assistant asks a series of questions to help design the form, runs validations against your PeopleSoft environment to ensure the form will work without breaking existing forms, and lets the form builder accept or change each suggestion along the way. The result is an import-ready form definition. In addition to building brand new forms, AI Form Builder can also help you update existing form types!

The assistant can build pages, segments and fields, dropdowns, prompt fields, approval workflow and its notifications, validations, and conditional logic such as showing, hiding or requiring fields and segments. Anything it can't build yet, it lists as a to-do for the form builder to finish in Form Setup.

AI Form Builder is a licensed add-on that runs on Ida.Next. From 3.77.00, every environment has the AI Form Builder page and its setup page, and the assistant appears once Ida.Next and the add-on are set up. Planning to Apply the Service Pack

This release must be applied on top of our 3.70.00, 3.75.00 or 3.76.00 versions. If you're on an earlier release, you'll need to upgrade to 3.70.00 beforehand, but you may then go straight to 3.77.00. If you are already on 3.70.00 or later, the upgrade package and instructions are available in the Online GT Library > Documents > Framework Updates > 3.x > R3.77.00.

As always, we recommend applying the upgrade in a development environment and running a testing cycle before moving to production. Our support team is ready to assist with any questions or issues: support@gideontaylor.com.
