๐๏ธ General Tab
The Form Type Table is the key setup table in the GT eForms framework. Generally, each existing paper form would equal a form type. For example, if doing personnel action forms one form type would be Hire, another might be Additional Pay Request and a third could be Termination.

๐๏ธ Pages Tab
This document gives an overview of Form Setup and is focused on the second tab, Pages. The Pages tab is where you create the majority of the layout of the form. You can configure the pages/tasks, segments/fields, buttons, and security to the tasks.
๐๏ธ Visual Ifs
This powerful part can be used in various places when setting up GT eForms. Visual Ifs allow for the functional definition of conditional logic. If the defined statement evaluates to true then associated setup will occur. A Visual If that returns false indicates that the associated setup should be skipped.
๐๏ธ Visual Ifs for Custom Segments
This document explains the new configuration features available for custom segments in the 3.58.00 version of the framework. These features give added flexibility with Visual Ifs to dynamically control the Attachments, Comments, and AWE Visualizer custom segments on an eForm. These features include:
๐๏ธ Validations Tab
This document gives an overview of Form Setup and is focused on the third tab, Validations. Using configuration, users can determine the validation text to fire, where they want the validation to fire, and the logic for when it should fire. This behavior is only supported in GT eForms 3.58+ on forms where Use Helium Performance is checked.
๐๏ธ Routings Tab
The Routings tab is where you set up automatic approval workflow for your form. Usually paper forms must go to several people for approval. The Routings tab can be set up to replicate that approval flow.
๐๏ธ AWE Configuration Settings
GT eForms 3.x uses PeopleSoftโs Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) to route eForms for evaluation. When GT eForms 3.x is installed, 10 delivered AWE definitions are supplied for basic workflow. Below are the default settings and general information about AWE as it pertains to GT eForms. See Peoplebooks for more information about the Approval Framework pages.
๐๏ธ Notifications Tab
The Notifications tab is where you set up either email or worklist items that notify approvers of a form that requires their review. GT eForms allows for enhanced functionality beyond traditional emails because of the ability to use Smart Sources to add information that customizes each email automatically.
๐๏ธ Action Items Tab
The Action Items tab is where you set up alerts to notify users about a variety of items that need to be brought to their attention. Action Items configured on an eForm will require a user to either acknowledge a checkbox or enter a comment, depending on the setting selected.
๐๏ธ Data Tab
The Data tab is used to configure advanced settings relating to the data management for the form.
๐๏ธ Search Records by Task
GT eForms may be configured with up to four (4) user tasks: Add, Evaluate, Update and View. All form types must have an Add and a View task. Forms with an approval workflow will require an Evaluate task. An Update task is suggested if you want to allow users to save forms for later, make changes while the form is pending for approval, or if you want evaluators to send forms back (aka recycle) to initiators to make changes and resubmit.
๐๏ธ Attachments Tab
The Attachments tab allows users to define the attachments associated with a form type.
๐๏ธ Query Records Tab
The Query Records tab will show whether query records have been configured for a form, and whether they are in sync with the current Form Type configuration.
๐๏ธ Reports Setup Tab
The Report Setup tab allows users to create a GT report name and associate a pre-configured PeopleSoft report and template with it.
๐๏ธ GT eForms Field Properties
GT eForms uses a set of generic fields on its form pages, regardless of which fields are used in the form type setup. The field data and display formats are captured in this document.
