Search Sets Setup
Search Sets are an optional way to group form types together. Using search sets, form types from different form families can be grouped together and a new landing page, security, and search records can be applied to the search set.

Find an Existing Value | Search for an existing search set |
Add a New Value | Create a new search set by entering the search set name |
Add (button) | Creates the new search set and opens the Search Sets Setup page |
Search Sets Setup page
Field | Value/Use |
---|---|
Search Set | Read-only name of the search set. |
Description | Enter a description of the Search Set so users will understand their grouping. |
Override Form Type Search Records | When checked, the Search Records section will appear to define the search records to be used. If not checked, will use the search record used on each form type. |
Landing Page Setup | Link to rich text editor box to add instructions, welcome, or other details to the landing page. |
Deploy | Shortcut to deploy tool for publishing the search set |
Navigation Roster | Assign a roster to the Search Set. Note: Users will also need to have access to the form task via the Form Type task rosters and the ability to access it through the Search Set. |
Application Package | Can define an Application Package, especially for search hooks. This can be used as a way to improve performance and simplify the URL. |
Included Form Tasks (Add, Evaluate, Update, and View) Active Flag Checkboxes | If checked, will activate the form task. |

Form Type | Use the prompt lookup to add a Form Type to the Search Set. |
Description | Read-only description of the Form Type selected. |
View Records (button) | When clicked, will show the Search Record for each Form Task. This works in real-time so if a search record is defined on the right, it will show within this window. |
Search Records
Field | Value/Use |

Search Records – Form Task | Use the dropdown to select the form type from the included form types. |
Search Records – Form Type | Use the drop-down to select the form task: Default Add Evaluate Update View If default is selected, will use the default for any rows that do not have a more specific task or type defined. |
Search Records – Search Record | Use the prompt lookup to select the Search Record to apply to the specified form task and type. |
