Message Catalog

The objective of this message catalog utility is to limit access to update certain message catalogs. With the delivered message catalog that PeopleSoft provides, if a user has access to the component/page, the user can update any message catalog set. GT created a utility that allows limited access to the message catalogs so forms builders/business analysts to can create and update a restricted list of message sets for use within GT eForms.

The security setup page setup restricts the message catalog sets that will display through this utility and on the Action Items tab of Form Setup. For more information on the security page see the Message Catalog Security Setup document.

Search Page

The search page will only display message catalogs that the logged in user’s permission list has access to. If the user has access to multiple permission list, all the message set numbers that each of the permission lists has access to will show in the list.
